Book Launch: Prague Uncovered

Raise a glass to Prague’s architecture! Join us for the official launch of our new book Prague Uncovered — a local’s guide to modern and contemporary architecture. We’ll celebrate the release together with friends, expats, and architecture lovers from all over the city.

Expect a relaxed evening full of good company, music, and festive spirit. And because it’s December, we’re turning the launch into a Mapamátky Christmas Party! Come dressed in the colours of the book — blue, yellow, orange, or red — and help us bring some colour to winter Prague.

Book Prague Uncovered introduces 70 buildings of modern and contemporary architecture through stories, photos, and tips from our young organization. The book will be available for pre-order from 05/11 and will soon hit the shelves of Prague’s bookstores.

The Mapamátky Association focuses on making architecture accessible to the public, with a particular emphasis on modern, post-war, and contemporary buildings in Prague. Through curated walking tours, maps, publications, and educational events, it presents architecturally significant works within their historical, urban, and social contexts. Its aim is to bring high-quality architecture closer to a wider audience — in a clear, engaging, and enjoyable way.
